A Name Some Older Red Bulls Fans Might Remember

It’s not goodbye forever, but it’s time to put a bow on the regular run of View from 202

You may have noticed that we have not posted an episode since March. Indeed, we only recorded two episodes for this season at all.

It is time to acknowledge the obvious: the regular run of View from 202 is coming to a close. We are no longer planning on releasing roughly bi-weekly episodes discussing Red Bull New York.

We won’t be disappearing completely – the website and episode archive is going to remain in place (in case you’re really jonesing to hear a recap of a win against San Jose in 2017). And we’re not destroying the podcasting equipment, so we’re not ruling out future episodes to discuss the team and/or sports culture more generally. But if we do return, it’ll be on an ad hoc, occasional basis.

Before we go, we’re recording one last “series finale” of sorts to reflect on the podcast, the team, and American soccer over the near-decade we’ve been doing the show.

Regular listeners may remember that before going radio silent, we had been already getting in a bit of a retrospective mood. So as we wrap up our regular run, it's time we do a proper finale and a proper retrospective.

And as such, we’d like to open up our inbox one last time to hear from you, whether it’s to share reflections about the state of American soccer, reminisce about a favorite RBNY result, remember some RBNY cult players, or wish us good riddance. As always, you can shoot us an email at contact@viewfrom202.com. We are recording on the evening of Monday, December 22nd, 2025.

Thanks,

Brit, Cork, Peaches, and Sam
